We are excited to announce that Dr. Anthony Catanese and Dr. Neel Shah have both been named Top Doctor for 2016 by New Jersey Monthly magazine. Drs. Catanese and Shah were two of 1,069 physicians to be chosen for this honor out of 24,230 physicians in the state.
How are physicians chosen to be Top Doctors?
New Jersey Monthly hired a local research firm to facilitate the rigorous selection process. The firm mailed surveys to all eligible New Jersey-based physicians who have been licensed for over five years. Then, these doctors were tasked with the responsibility of recommending physicians they would choose to treat their own families.
Following a stringent qualifying round, physicians with sufficient votes were placed on a preliminary list. This list was paired down based on additional factors and then submitted for review to a panel of 25 physicians who had top votes in 2015. The final 1,069 physicians were chosen from that list.
