Cryosurgery involves the application of freezing temperatures to a cancerous growth in the body. Just as a dermatologist might freeze a growth on a person’s hand, Urologists use the same technique to cure cancer. Minimally invasive techniques are used during cryosurgery, also known as Cryo-ablation.
